Baseball : Oakland vs Seattle

Baseball in a few words...

Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of nine players each who take turns batting and fielding. The batting team attempts to score runs by hitting a ball that is thrown by the pitcher with a bat swung by the batter, then running counter-clockwise around a series of four bases: first, second, third, and home plate. A run is scored when a player advances around the bases and returns to home plate.

The director of the Lyon campus invited us to a baseball game. It was the Oakland against Seattle.You should know that baseball is a religion in the United State, like soccer in England for example. He wanted to share his passion.

First, before attending this game. We were fortunate to have a course on baseball. Indeed, very little media coverage in France, many people were not aware of the rules of the sport. After understanding the rules of the game, we were finally ready for the match.

You should know that I'm not a fan of baseball. But seeing as much excitement around a game, much passion, gave me still want to attend the game. Once there, I was impressed by the size of the stage despite being empty my greatest despair. I had a good time and it was a good experience to attend a baseball game.

However, the bad news of the evening, it was defeated Oakland 3-4. But better is game, we were good fans anyway.
